DC UPS System


The sad fact is there are a lot of industrial 12 and 2Vdc industrial systems that need to keep working through power glitches and outages. Often the approach is to use a computer style UPS system. This means that the AC power is converted to DC to charge the batteries and then converted back to AC then into the system power-supply to be converted back to DC with losses and reliability issues at every step.
