I-SOIC32-0.5-8.59-8.89 is a 32 pin Package adapter that allows the pocket programmer to programm SOIC devices.

Lead pitch is 0.5mm [.02"]

Body width 8.59mm - 8.89mm [.338" -.350"]

Simply press down on the the top, insert the chip firmly into the chip opening, and then let go of the top. The socket pins clamp down on the TSOP pins making contact and holding it in place. A bit of care must be used so as not to bend any pins.
